I'm pretty sure it was 24 pounds, but I should weigh it again.
Like I said, I used a long Nitto stem bolt. I think it came from Smart Bike Parts. I used a drill press to make the hole for the bolt and then countersink the head. The end of the post is cut off to match the angle of the wedge. The original wedge will work or you can use a 1 1/8" stem wedge.
Yes, there was an ultralight model with aluminum tubes. The lugs are cast around the tubes which are shaped so that they can't turn or come out. It's a unique and interesting bicycle. That's why I keep it around.
