Endless threads on what I use on rust. I have typed it many times already. I use oxalic acid. Google will get you all you need to know (where do I find it, how to I mix, what concentration, how do I dispose of it, yadda, yadda). $10 of OA handles about 20 bikes. And I will do complete frames (40 gallon bath). Try doing that with evaporust. Flipping involves buying right, controlling your cost, doing all the work yourself, and doing nice work so you can get at or near market price for your finished project.

Even if you can make money after spending $200 on a project, imagine how much you would make if you could do the project for $50??

My assumption is buy and sell based on this comment: "if I want to continue buying and reselling bikes that I've fixed up?" If it is for personal use, do whatever fits your budget.
