I have to be honest, a frameset for $150 makes me nervous. Let me ask this: what is your budget? There are a ton of track bikes for sale on Craigslist. Also, look at the message boards for some of the tracks. I always build my bikes but ended up buying a new Felt TK3 for my first track bike. I do currently have a brand new Tiemeyer frameset waiting to be built. But depending on what kind of parts availability you have and what you can pick up I'd seriously look for a used bike or an entry level new bike. My Felt has a 75* head tube. The 72.5* head tube seems more like a road bike geometry. I believe people have discussed the Specialized Langster geometry and even that has a 73* head tube angle. Others with more experience will chime in. Good luck!
