The C'dale has a Brooks Champion Flyer with springs. I find it very comfortable since I spend much time on aero bars. I do centuries on aero bars.
The Champion Flyer is supposed to be wrong for aero bars but I find it very good when I slide way back with my critical parts over the sprung area. The springs make a little noise and that may be an issue on a long trip.
By the way, I have another training bike with Specialized cut out saddle. That one is fine also.
Part of the reason is that the aero bars shift weight forward to the legs and elbows.
I can easy lift off the saddle to get blood to circulate.
