7/18 - 0 miles. Got lazy and decided to stay inside with the air conditioner all day, by the time I decided to tough out the humidity it was too dark outside to ride. (I guess I need a set of lights for my bike)
7/19 - 14.862 miles. Got in a decent ride before a late dinner yesterday evening. After a day with a heat index of 105*F, my evening ride felt great: The only downfall riding country roads at dusk are the bugs, I now fully appreciate the windshield on my car.
Rain expected sometime this after noon so I'm not sure if I'm going to hit the saddle today, but my first 50+ mile cruise is still on for tomorrow. I've got a confirmation from 4 fellow bicyclists that are riding with me, 2 of which spent the better half of last night tuning up his Trek.
