Does anyone know if a regular bottom bracket, i.e. from Shimano will work with a Supercycle Tempo? It is a department store brand and the parts look weird.

I am having trouble with the crank and want to change out the bottom bracket and crank and drive train.

The trouble is the bolt is hexagonal shaped and the crank seems different from usual parts.
