Over the years I have been the "victim" of all sorts of azzhattery from passing motorists. I am always grateful when they "assault" me with water, soda, M&Ms, firecrackers, verbiage, horns, or other relatively harmless teenage projectiles. However, I am a fairly hardened dude on a bike and very unlikely to lose control and crash from such light firepower. I think other cyclists may fair more poorly which is why, in Louisiana, ejecting anything from a moving vehicle towards another motorist, pedestrian, cyclist is a pretty serious offense and is likely to be rewarded with some jail time.
I have been running a video camera up front during every moment on a bike since last summer. So far no one has done anything foolish on purpose. Hot sauce squirted into my eyes will not be taken lightly and I hope their parents are rich.
