NB: the front one does not come down far enough to catch much wheel-spray ..

so there is that .. IMO ..

I have built up a bike before with 2 rear mudguards out of the set.. and added a mudflap..

to do the effective job of keeping my Feet drier..

maybe as it is the fender bottom rear tip does not hit the ground ,
when you U lock your front wheel back with the rear one so As to not get it stolen..

a Mudflap needed at least..
This was my first time installing fenders so it might have been something I did during install to make them appear that way. The bike wont be seeing much rain though so I will see how they hold up. This time of the year in florida it can rain pretty much anytime so I wanted something on there incase I get stuck riding home from work with wet roads. Plus I like the way they look on the bike. I'll keep my eye out for a mudflap though
