Yes. Stand and pedal. On rolling terrain this is often automatic as you periodically stand to go up inclines. On long flats you can stand and pedal in a high gear. You can even stand and pedal while in the drops. Of course you can also stand or support your weight off the saddle if coasting downhill.

I can't sit in one spot for too long on my cushy office chair, so certainly can't do it on a tiny hard bike saddle.
