Bikes: Still a garage full

Help with Peugeot Bike Identification - Is this a UO-8?

Hey Ladies and Gents,
Can you help me identify this retro Peugeot? Don’t be too rough, I’m a noob. I just bought from a geezer. He must know a thing or two about bikes cause he had a garage full. Anyways I figured this must be a UO-8, cause I paid two Ben Franklins for it. Hopefully I didn't overpay. Supposedly 41 years old. But looking at the old catalogs online, some things aren’t right on this bike.

It’s got these ornamental lugs, rather than those Mexican ones.
It’s got chrome around the rear seat stays.
The tube the handlebar fits to doesn't say "Death Stem."
It’s got Stronglight Aluminum pedals, rather than those nice chrome pinned ones.
It’s missing a Carbolite sticker on it, and has some black, green and gold sticker on it with the numbers 531.
The wheels are kinda dull, no chrome. Also the axles say Campy on them, rather than Normandy.
The bike also has a fricken flat tire. And its some crazy stitch on tire with glue all over it.
Most of all, it has front and back Shimano 105 Derailleurs, rather than those Simplex ones.

The geezer was trying to sell some Star Trek bike with Camping kit on it for $1800. Called a Y-foil or something.

Thanks for your help.
