As a marathon runner, I tried most energy drinks and gels and settled for a couple that were pleasing to my taste, gave me a sustained energy boost, provided the necessary electrolytes and were compatible with my GI system. Ultima and E-Fuel were the drink mixes and E Gel and GU were the gels. Also used Endurox and Slim Fast for recovery drinks.
