newbie choices

I recentally turned 60 and I'm a former runner but bad knees and an artheritic back have put an end to that. I'm getting a new bike and have narrowed it down to these three hybrids; Trek FX 7.4, Cannondale Quick SL3 and the Fuji Absolute 1.3. All seem to have similar components, frames, carbon graphite front forks, etc. All in the same price range. I'm going to ride them all this weekend to see if one stands out above the others but having said that,is there one that is just better than the others? I've decided on a hybrid rather than a road bike because of the artheritus in my back and the more upright riding posotion of a hybrid will help avoid strain. I'm also not the least bit interested in any mountain biking and the new bike will be riden strictly on roads and paved bike trails. I would like to train to ride some moderate distance rides, particularly the annual Seattle to Portland ride, and want a bike I do this with comfortably. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks for any and all help.
