So my Garneau Montana XT3 shoes arrived. They are a size 50 and fit just right for my rack fit size 14 feet. They have a fair amount of adjustability due to using straps vs laces. You may get away with the width, not sure. I'm a D and they fit with room to spread for sure. The arches are weirdly high...I wouldn't keep these if they were planned for extended walking.
For a 15 I would guess a 51 or 52 would work. The 50 is a close fit in length for a 14.
Easy to confuse volume with width. If you've got extra width, that's not going to work real well, but extra volume can be handled a little easier insoles and tighter lacing in some cases. I think many bike shoes have gone to high arch support because of the stiffness in the bottom. If you're not operating with any real cushioning on a stiff platform, you've got to hold the arch up.
