Wow guys! thanks for all the info. The STP looks good but I think a little fast considering I have 4 days. I guess I could always start 100mi south of Portland? Salem?

This is why I was thinking of going along the coast (something like the way that Jseis describes in their first sentence). I imagine that the scenery would be epic, but I want to know if it's a very good cycling route (traffic, condition of the road, etc).
