Add in the cost of tools and or professional assistance to install the BB and you might be able to have two bikes rather than upgrading this one. If the frame was better quality like a Columbus Brain or Reynolds 753 maybe I would consider it.

Also how long have you been riding? Simply riding a bike doesn't automatically make you able to work on one. I know guys who have been riding for decades but can't even fix a flat.

OH I almost forgot you need to upgrade to Campi cantilever brakes? OY! add another 400 quid to the cost of the group.

Sounds like you're being a bit presumptuous. I don't have thousands of pounds to spend on 90 bianchis, but I do love and care for my one bike as well as I can. When the time comes to swap out some parts, I'd like to go with that brand because I've used and enjoyed Campagnolo in the past. Simple as that, really. Thanks to everyone who has helped me out with this.
