I have a soft spot for Campy...

Because the brake releases are on the hoods and using them still allows full application so with slight wheel damage or a broken spoke you can hit the button with your thumb and keep riding. Because carbon fiber brake blades feel better in cool weather. Because Campagnolo gives you an option to run good shifting cassettes with extra cogs in the middle of the range instead of a harder big gear than Merckx used to dominate the spring classics. Because Campagnolo doesn't make ugly parts like Shimano's dead octopus cranks and since 1992 all their integrated brake/shift levers have routed all the cables beneath the bar tape.
Because they not only refrain from styling their cranksets like dead octopuses, they also took the trouble to come up with an aesthetically pleasing fastening method. Because they (belatedly) agree with me that DP rear brakes are overkill. Because you don't have to be a mechanical genius to fully overhaul one of their shifters. Because their stuff has always been sexy, and because of the obvious passion the company is drenched in.

But not because of their rear hubs, IMO.

And SRAM is giving them a run for their money... but Shimano is king; the 600lb gorilla. There's no escape. And they do come up with a lot of awesome stuff, that was once styled quite well; let's hope those days return.
