Speaking of soft tissue injuries, I've discovered this amazing treatment. You may find it at some drugstores, it's called TRAUMEEL. It comes in drops and liniment. My sister told me about it and I was yeah, sure, but it's amazing! You put about 10 drops under your tongue, about 3 times a day, beginning right after you get your injury. It has arnica and a number of other homeopathic ingredients, but I swear it's amazing! If you start taking it right after your injury, and apply the creme as well, it really works. It speeds up the healing, you won't bruise as much, but it's only for soft tissue injuries like sprains, bruises, etc. I tried it after I fell and landed on my hand last summer, it hurt like HELL. But the next day, it hardly hurt at all. I've used it for other injuries, mostly pedal klonks bruises etc, and I now swear by it. The only thing is the instructions are in german! Also, don't take the drops immediately before or after brushing your teeth- something about the peppermint makes it taste funny. I don't know how widely available it is in the U.S but I've found it here at several drug stores.
