Asking here is not really a "2nd opinion"- the reviews constitute multiple opinions already, from people who have actually used the kit. If you want to buy a kit there's nothing wrong with the Nashbar, but I agree that it's best to buy what you need. Frankly the tools are far less important than the knowledge you apply toward using them, so be sure to lean heavily on parktool.com/blog and sheldonbrown.com.

Finally, if the saddle on that bike is at the proper height it's likely the frame is too large for you. In addition the 3-piece steel hubs and what appear to be steel rims mean you should not put a lot of money into it. It's worth perhaps $50 on the used bike market if in excellent condition. Absolutely remove the brake extension (suicide) levers.
