Gosh the bike shop by me is expensive(70 for wheel truing) so I'm gona look around for a good shop that I can start buying tools from.

Vin nailed it on the head I'm just looking for a higher comfort level to work on bikes because only other bike I ever had that I worked on was a Stolen(brand name) and I took off the brakes since I couldn't get them to work and I had no gears being a bmx bike so it was very simple.

I thought the sheldonbrown site was a little weird but I come from the subaru world so I'll get around to liking it lol.

Can anyone recommend a book to buy I thought about the parktools book I think its called the blue book or something like that.
