Got great news from the doctor................

Well as some may know after 10 years of cycling had my first real crash going down the mountain at 30 mph and slid over 60 feet across pavement!!!! Roughed up a bit and my left top shoulder was really hurting. This happened this past Monday and I roughed it until today when I could get in with my doc. X-Ray looked fine and nothing out of alignment but sending to a radiologist to do a second read. He said it would take about 2 weeks to really start feeling better due to the impact I took. My hip is already blue; yellow; red; green; and bloodied but fine as well.

He said if however the pain persist after 2 weeks I would be referred to a Ortho for the next step which could mean surgery if they find something else. So for now my mind is at ease a bit.

Will go back to riding next week..................right now I am happy because my new brifters came in today as well as my new wheelset that will save me almost a pound off the bikes weight!!! That is tomorrows project!!! Oh yeah............new Lizard Skin bar tape came too! It is like Christmas at my home right now!
