Left because I mount from the left usually. However, the right works fine and I can mount from either side as needed. My right leg is most definitely much stronger, no doubt. Especially post broken left femur but still I generally lead from the left. I am right handed but not strongly so and often shoot (shotguns) from the left for example. I drive nails from either hand.
