I've tried the super glue approach and am not sure about it. I've had the super glue come through to the tube and puncture it. I think it has to be very carefully done with no excess glue. Now, instead of that I fill the hole with polyurethane caulk. Not as perfect a job, but it works OK. Duct tape good. That softer cornering rubber does cut more easily.
