A Different Approach For Tonight’s Exercise

http://www.280dude.com/2013/07/29/a-...ghts-exercise/

I’m going to try something new tonight when I get out for a ride. The long loop going around the rec center across the street is 1.3 miles (I think). I am going to spin like mad (to get the heart rate up) and each lap I am going to get off the bike and do 10 pushups, 10 chins (modified so I can do them) and plank for 1 minute. I’ll do that until I think I may be “too sore” and then I’ll complete my ride, going for heart rate the rest of the way.

If this works out I will do it a few times a week, probably every other day. I may have to do TWO laps to get the heart rate up and keep it there for a length of time but hopefully I can get it down in just the one lap. I’d love to work up to doing ten stops for my pushups, chins, planks, etc.

Thoughts?
