yeah, I thought it was a bit overstated also but it's variable with the individual. I suppose if you're doing the Grant Peterson thing in your business casual and taking it easy to not break a sweat he has a point. I've been there. But I agree with you that the potential for flats and ride comfort are not that pressing on commutes, on my commutes anyway. I also don't cross any terrain that need bigger than my 28's.
