Brake cleaner is nasty stuff. I won't use it on cars anymore just so I don't have to be around it.

It will destroy all sorts of stuff too.

A bike can be cleaned with car wash soap or dawn and look awesome and it doesn't take long, just use one rag for the chain/cassette and one for the painted parts.
