You need a Nitto Technomic stem. It'll fit your 1" threaded headset, it comes in a variety of reach lengths and it has a significantly longer shank than what comes stock on most bikes. It's also nicely finished. When you're selecting the reach length keep in mind that, as the handlebar moves upward, it also moves closer to your torso.
