hello just had a bike as a present, from my other half. im not all that knowledgeable on road bikes it a~baracudda team road bike~

its not the lightest bike, but by no means heavy, i was looking at upgrading the gears to sti as the baracudda has grip shifters on, (cant buy a new bike otherwise she will go mad!!!!)

even if i have to change the cassette and chain set, what is a good medium priced set to get, with new brake/gear leavers?

the brakes are pretty poor so i just ordered some ~Campagnolo Centaur Dual Pivot Brakes ~ so i need the leavers to match up with these.
