my problem is largely part of my schedule I rarely eat brakefast... I just have a difficult time making myself eat anything after I wake up... and then too often I'll get busy and skip lunch and then I end up eating to much at dinner and a few hrs after dinner I am hungry again so I'll eat a sandwich or left overs...
lately I've been making an effort to at least eating a timely lunch... I need to find something that I can actually stomach shortly after I wake up :-/
as for soda... that is an off and on BIG issue... as a kid my mom called me "guzzle gut" for a reason... it doesn't matter what I'm drinking, I can chug it and I usually do... when I go out to eat if I get soda I end up drinking at minimum the 32oz and sometimes another full refill... thats almost 2L of freaking sugar in a glass.
the last time I went on a fairly strict diet I was eating 5 times a day... I would littealy be frustrated at my next meal because I HAD to eat again... I was eating something like 3500-4000 calories of GOOD food, lots of veggies (not fond of most fruits) and plenty of protien. I mixed that in with the body for life workout program and lost 40lbs in under 2... then I moved and the diet and workout went to hell... that was 6 or so years ago and I never did gain it all back... but much more than I would have liked :-/
while on that diet I craved COLD and FIZZY... I found fresca was calorie free so I'd buy a 12 pack and allow myself one every day or two... at dinner I would drink decaf iced tea, about 1/4 cup of splenda per gallon was just enough sweetness as long as the tea was brewed properly (aka not bitter)
and for the rest of my drinking I just made sure to keep a water bottle full of cold filtered tap water around...
so yes... I have an eating problem... lol
