It doesn't work that way.
Record was designed as the top of the line. SR was conceived as a tricked out record group meaning they looked at record and said, ROI be damed, let's tweak every last possible thing we can. The differences are subtle and really not performance related. It was more about taking the designs as far as possible for those who could appreciate, and would pay for the effort.
So, that puts Record and DA as the REAL top level groups in both mechanical and electronic.
