Okay, some clarification as some of us are getting confused:
I never said I rode tubulars, I'm not sure where you got that from, but I don't.
As for 160 psi, that was used as an example. My quote was: "...but even if I inflate to 160 and lose 10 daily, I can go 5-6 days before pressure drops below my tire's rating."
I never said I typically inflate to 160, you inferred it. In fact, my pump is only rated to go to 160, so getting there would basically be maxing it out, which doesn't seem like a smart thing to do. The point I was attempting to make was that my tires are rated for 115-170 psi, which is a wide range and way more than I typically need. All I was saying is that if I inflated to 120-130 that I could run a week or so and not lose the gobs of air pressure that you claim to. If after a week I still have about 100 psi, you still haven't told me why it's so critically important for me to re-pump more air into my tires on a daily. The really odd thing about all of this is that on top of everything, you claim to run lower pressures than I do even at my lowest! So again, your responses don't really make sense to me and you haven't offered any actual reasons why daily pumping is needed.
Edit: oh yeah, also not sure why the sudden hate on all things Canadian either. Real classy, that.
