I'm not a real "eating problem" person, but I am a classic semi-success/semi-failure at weight control. According to the hated BMI, I'm overweight but not obese. At any rate---even as a "don't follow this example" kind of guy, I can definitely say that never bringing (regular) soda, alcoholic beverages, cookies, cakes or pies into my humble abode helps me a great deal with weight control. If they're not at hand, I don't eat/drink them and every little bit helps. Now--if I could just make it over the sensible eating, portion control and increase calories burned/decrease calories consumed hurdles, I might even move into the "do follow this example" category. Oh, well--maybe someday...
