A few years ago I did some rounds of testing at the rheumatologist for some much milder inflammation. He didn't figure it out. Some of these autoimmune issues are a real conundrum, apparently.
Nice that you're excited to be back on the road. I'm not sure how I'd respond if I broke something. This road rash is making me apprehensive enough. Crashing stinks.
Now that the inflammation is worse, is there a greater chance they can find something? It's good the medication is helping, but I know you would rather be "as built", with no additives.
I didn't know about this road rash? What went on there? I wish I knew what went on in my deal. I had a 3 inch strip of road rash on my elbow, and that was it. Destroyed a jersey, but the bibs are fine. I think I just stopped, as I was a bruise from my knee to my shoulder, including my right arm. That said, everything I have heard says road rash is worse. So, I do hope you heal well.
