TT is joking. Those Campy Pistas are tubular, overpriced track training (practice) wheels...that cost around $700.

Stubear, a track wheelset is "good enough" at around $200 (new). Spending more than that wont get you much more functionality...if anything at all.

Being that you seem new to bikes and equipment, you'll soon find out that there is A LOT of hype in the sales and marketing of it. It's because bikes are essentially a mature product (like shaving razors and pizza) so it's up to the hype machines to convince you to spend more.
