I'm new to the forum but been trolling around reading people posts and comments for the last few weeks. The title says it all, I'm looking to get a used fixie for about $200 and I don't care for the colorful stuff. What matters is a good bike that will work for my 7 mile commute to work and riding around town when I feel like it. The commute will involve hills and bumpy crCked pavement. I know I will need brakes because people in cars do stupid **** all the time, so brakes are a necessity for me.

A few bikes that stood out are:

Windsor clockwork $210 barely used On CL
Kilo TT used for $300+ on CL

It seems like the Kilo TT is the standard recommendation from majority of people and sites, but its already $100 over my budget, and I originally wanted to spend closer to the $100 range.

I use to ride bikes when I was younger, and so I would love to get back into it. Thank you for your feed back in Advance.
