I just became an official card carrying member yesterday so no ads either way for me, but it was always a shock whenever I'd use my ipad to view the site - "where'd all these ads come from?!"
I also paid $2 for the iphone app...which could use an update. Or at least stop unsubscribing me from threads after I view them on the app. I just gave up and stopped using it.
