The smooth, light American Classic is a very nice seatpost. There is a lower model I can do without, but if you have the simple smooth one with "American Classic" across the front, near the top, it's a sweety. Used by a lot of pro's back in the day to avoid weight and expense of "name" posts.

Somewhere in Charlotte NC, there is a bike shop that has a picture of Indurain on a Pinarello and the seatpost is an AC.
