So true Stan. I was thinking back to my Gios Professional from the same era. What a beautiful line of bikes it was.

Around 2002, I was at a factory in Taiwan, negotiating a deal for a bunch of mountain bikes and I saw a trolly of near complete road frames roll by. I commented that the colour looked like Gios blue and the factory owner proudly exclaimed that they were indeed Gios frames. It saddened me that Gios had gone to Asian manufacturing but it made the factory look even better in my eyes.
