He may not have known what you were talking about. He may be such a poor and/or self-centered driver that he truly doesn't know what he did was wrong. Probably a good idea to gently and with much circumspection call the driver's attention to what he did. But, to approach his legally sacred space with threatening manner and voice could escalate beyond what you are prepared to cope with.
Lots of aggressive driving that puts other vehicles in danger. Some of it is designed to set the "victim" up for injury, death or lawsuit. Best not fall into that trap. Others, like the person in the beat up pickup truck that cut me off while I was driving home from dinner tonight just drive that way. Sooner or later they will have a problem. Best to try to avoid them.
