You want to upgrade from an '87 Brava? A few years ago I picked up an '87 Brava frame and built it up with nice components. I absolutely love it! If I had to keep just one bike, okay maybe two bikes, that would be one of them.

Okay, maybe part of it's charm is in the components. The original 105 headset, VO crank with Shimano UN55 BB, Cyclone derailleurs, Tektro double-pivot brakes, Mavic MA40 rims on Mavic 501 sealed-bearing hubs. PC870 chain, Shimano HG freewheel (it's spaced 126mm, so I run 2x6 gears). It's a little hot rod.
