If the bike is a perfect fit, this is probably a good route to go. Freewheel? Might have them put a 32 or 34 tooth, 6 spd on the rear for the hills if you don't ride a lot. Otherwise, if you don't want to do your own upkeep, then buy new as already suggested. However you will still end up spending money at the shop for bearing maint anyway. It's not that time consuming and they you know you have it right...or not.
