Took this ride over the causeway sunday. We got to the causeway and saw there is a big sign warning motorists to watch for bicycles on the causeway so we rode the whole way over side by side in the right lane no problem.

The only uncomfortable part was at the end. There is a freeway style exit and to head north we had to move over into the middle lane with some traffic doing nearly highway speeds. Still worked out fine and only a few impatient horn honkers.

Spent some time on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, rode north to Point Pleasant, had some awesome burritos for dinner in Manasquan and took a bike path inland and camped at Allaire State Park.
