You might also look at Schwalbe, maybe a Big Ben or Little Ben. Next time I re-tire, I think I'm going to try Little Bens.

EDIT: probably should mention that I've had a couple of sidewalk cuts from sharp rocks, but it was in a situation where I think nearly any lightweight tire would have failed. I saw the rocks, had doubts and went ahead. Pfffft.
I'm about 230 but unfortunately, I don't think 37s will fit for me

I'll check out the big/little Ben but am leaning toward the Tourguards. I run them on my fixed gear and I like them, I just wanted to check other options..
