Something could have gone around stuck on the tire also and made a scratch I have something that looks like that on my Easton fork but it was made by an object that went around with the tire.
i tapped it with a coin to hear if there were any change in sound. It turns out that from what I can hear, there is nothing wrong with the fork. Might've been a rock that knicked it or something. Thank you for your help
