I bought a Motobecane Sprint off craigslist for 900 less than a year old, and the guy already put on Ksyrium SL wheelset. This ome was aluminum w carbon stays and fork, Ultegra components. It has absolutely great for years. Some dick motorist hit me and cracked my carbon, I bought an Immortal Spirit carbon frame. Even better bike now. I have swapped the chain a few times, and the cassette once. The shifters might need to be swapped soon. but I got thousands and thousands of miles on it so far, and love every one of them. I can't compare it to a LBS bike, but I totally think BD has great value, if that's what you want.
