I didn't enjoy myself as much as when I ride solo. But that's for a lot of reasons. One being that the ride was at night & I always ride before noon. The other being that it's at a fixed time & away from home so I had to drive to a certain place at a certain time to ride vs. just riding from my home when I feel like it.

As for enjoyment from any/all of my cycling, I do enjoy that. Other than recovery rides I do have a training goal for my rides. I am "cycling" rather that JRA. But my goal is to improve my fitness, lose weight so just tooling along at whatever speed suits me doesn't meet those goals. I tend to be goal driven so speed/power is a suitable goal when it comes to cycling.
