When rolling the folded IF Move over longer distances, like the 30m from the entrance of my bus depot to the boarding gate, I find that the magnets holding the wheels together don’t hold very well especially when rounding corners. Does anybody else find this to be a problem?
Is there a way to adjust the magnets so they’re closer together or changing them to stronger rare-earth magnets?
Also, I’m still occasionally forgetting to rotate the left pedal to the 6 o’clock position before folding, so it’s nicking up my headtube/frontfork. Although there’s a piece of plastic film in that spot, apparently to protect against this very problem, it’s not thick enough and it’s going to need changing soon. Any ideas for a better solution than just replacing or covering it with a piece of heavy duty packaging tape?
I was thinking of using an adhesive rubber pad like the kind meant for the bottom of chair legs, but I’m not sure the adhesive on those are strong enough to withstand bumps from the pedal.
