I'm trying to replace my gf's stock calipers (Promax) with my ultegra calipers. However, they are too short to reach the rim surface. The bike is 2012 Cannondale Synapse alloy with 700c wheels. Does it require different brake calipers? As far as I know, there is no size in brake calipers. The wheels seat well in the grooves. I adjusted the pads to their lowest position.

Any idea?
