Thanks. I was mainly interested in the frame. If I went SL I'd get DA 9000 and with Advanced I'd go Ultegra 6800. I'm okay with the component trade-off but didn't know if the SL frame was so much better that I needed to be sure to get it.
The sl frame is definately the highest grade carbon that giant uses, the t800. It will be lighter while offering the same or stiffer ride.
I ride a tcr sl, and its a stiff bike. The propel isn't as stiff due to the angle of the top tube. I think the propel sl is much more compliant compared to the tcr.
