Many, many times. I've built or restored many bikes. Some were fun, and cool, but not such great rides. Among them were a PX10 and a chrome Paramount. Others rode great and were just not needed - a black Marin, and a K2 Enemy cross bike.
I sold a beautiful ADR replica 91 Bottecchia tonight. The buyer will ride her more each month than I would in year - since he has one road bike and I have 10. It really helps to know they will be used and appreciated.
