Bikes: 2010 Origin8 CX700, 2003 Cannondale Backroads Cross Country, 1997 Trek mtn steel frame converted commuter/tourer, 1983 Univega Sportour, 2010 Surly LHT, Others...

The A530's are my favorite multi-purpose pedals. I spin those around on my cyclocross commuter.
About 12,000 smooth miles on them now.
Really nice shape, size, weight for what I like in a pedal.
Most of the time in SPD sandals, Pearl Izumi's, Keen Austins.
But, they are hands down my favorite pedals when riding in my Vibram Five Fingers or barefoot, as I very rarely ever wear traditional shoes when not on the bike........Very comfy shape and surface for the human foot on the non-SPD side.
Enjoy.
Ride lots.
Have fun.
